Registering your App in WorkTrail

Any request to WorkTrail has to include two keys: a public app identifier and a secret api key. Currently these should both be kept private. In the future the public app identifier will be used in client side apps while the secret api key should never ever be shared or leave your systems.

After enabling developer mode you can find the list of apps inside of WorkTrail's management interface. From there you can create an App by simply entering it's name. Currently no more information is required, but this can change.

Find your Public App Identifier and Secret API Key

After creating a new app you will get back to the list. From there simply click on the App you just created to find your public app id and secret API key.
